Pure Hygiene – Terms & Conditions of Service
We understand – terms and conditions can feel long, but they protect both you and us. We've kept them as straightforward and transparent as possible.

1. Contract Agreement
1.1 One-off/ad-hoc cleans and metered monthly cleans remain bound by these Terms & Conditions.
2. Contract Transfers
2.1 Cleans to be transferred to a new property are to be the responsibility of the bill payer / Customers and can be altered via the dashboard, this must be carried out at least 24 hours prior to scheduled bin cleaning.
2.2 Transferred cleans must be within the service / catchment area supplied by Pure hygiene.
3. Cancellation & Fees
3.1 Services can be cancelled at any time 24 Hours prior to scheduled cleans, this must be carried out by the bill payer / customer via the dashboard.
4. Cleaning Schedule & Process
4.1 Cleans are based on your agreed frequency, maximum monthly frequency (e.g., every 4 weeks), due to 4 x 5-week months payments during these periods may increase due to additional cleans within this period.
4.2 No payments will be taken until bin cleaning has been carried out, sign up will be charged at £0.00 and recurring metered billing will be applied and billed as per schedule monthly.
4.3 Each bin is treated separately; the same bin must be available each time unless otherwise agreed.
4.4 Cleaning includes the inside, lid, and exterior surfaces (where safe).
4.5 We use specialist jet washing equipment with recycled water and eco-friendly cleaning solutions.
4.6 Some stubborn marks/stains may require multiple visits or may not be fully removable.
5. Customer Responsibilities
5.1 Bins must be presented kerbside or at the property perimeter by 7am (or as instructed) on cleaning day.
5.2 Bins must be emptied by your council service before we can carry out cleaning.
5.3 If bins contain excessive waste, human/animal waste, nappies, or hazardous materials, we may refuse service and reserve the right to bill for cleaning as per Terms and Conditions agreed.
5.4 Customers must keep details (address, phone, email, bank details) updated with us.
6. Missed Cleans
We reserve the right to miss a clean if:
- Access is blocked by vehicles or obstructions.
- The bin was not presented.
- The council did not empty the bin.
- Dangerous waste remains inside.
- Unsafe weather conditions prevent cleaning.
• Missed cleans due to customer fault will still be charged.
• If your bin is emptied late (after midday), we reserve the right to clean at the end of route, Bins must be free of refuse otherwise section 5.2 will be applicable.
• If your refuse bins are not able to be cleaned, they will be scheduled for the next available date, no billing will be incurred until the next available schedule.
7. Safety & Liability
7.1 Customers must maintain a 5-metre safe distance during cleaning operations.
7.2 Pure Hygiene is not liable for damage or liability caused if safety rules are ignored.
7.3 Any waste removed during cleaning may be bagged and left inside your bin for disposal.
8. Payments
8.1 Payments are strictly by Stripe online payment portal no cash can be accepted by the driver, discrepancies with payments must be made directly to Stripe.
8.2 Subscription Stripe setup is required for all payments, card update information is to be supplied by the requested date to avoid failed services and debt recovery from third parties.
9. Service Adjustments
9.1 We may reschedule cleans due to staff illness, holidays, machinery breakdown, or to consolidate routes. You will be notified by email or SMS stating the reason of missed clean and if rescheduling has been confirmed.
9.2 Prices may change; however, increases will only take effect after your selected service period ends.
9.3 Discounts (e.g., for multiple bins) apply only while conditions remain the same.
10. Communication
10.1 We may place a Pure Hygiene service sticker on your bin for identification; by signing these terms and conditions you agree to allow Pure hygiene to apply identification stickers including logo and advertising free of charge.
10.2 Customers providing a mobile number will be added to our free SMS reminder service.
10.3 Important updates may be provided by email, SMS, or bin information tags; it is the customer's responsibility to read these.
11. Abuse Policy
11.1 Pure Hygiene operates a Zero Tolerance Policy against abuse (in person, online, or otherwise). We reserve the right to terminate services immediately if this occurs.
12. Data Protection
12.1 By providing your details, you agree that Pure Hygiene may store and use them for service administration and communication.
12.2 Data may also be used for service updates, reminders, and offers.
13. Rolling Contracts
13.1 Rolling payments will be applicable to monthly bin cleans and can be altered via the dashboard only.
